Keeping well for me means meditation, frequently. I was introduced to meditation by a friend who is a huge Deepak Chopra fan, so she recommended one of the frequently run series by Deepak Chopra and Oprah Winfrey. The first one I followed was wonderful, comforting even. The Chopra Centre often run these free online ‘experiences’ and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Allowing the space to listen, be silent and still for twenty minutes a day seemed so simple yet so transformative. Beyond this I experimented with Mindfulness before getting tuned into Transcendental Meditation, which I use now and feel is so powerful. I think this, coupled with therapy, are the most penetrative allies in my recovery. Some useful places to find out more can be found here:
